Bellanger, Jourdan and Lelong, 2012

Clonistria caputaurata has been described as recently as 2012 from Chaguaramal and Morne Bleu in northern Trinidad, Trinidad and Tobago. We photographed this species on 20 March 2009 in lower montane forest on the northern slope of Cerro del Aripo, above the village of Brasso Seco at 550-600 m asl. C. caputaurata may be endemic of the Northern Range of Trinidad.
