Sarcostemma cynanchoides is a twining perennial vine found in the southwestern United States, Texas, and northern Mexico, including Baja California. It grows in riverine forests, canyons, desert washes, etc., climbing over shrubs and small trees. From near sea level to 1,400 m. This species has a slender herbaceous stem, opposite ovate leaves, and white or purplish flowers in many-flowered umbels. S. cynanchoides flowers from March to December.
