James' Buckwheat (Eriogonum jamesii) Bentham, 1856

 

Synonyms: Eriogonum sericeum, Antelope Sage

 

Eriogonum jamesii is a species of wild buckwheat native to the southwestern United States (Colorado, Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico); it probably occurs in the neighbouring Mexican states as well. The plant displayed on this page is in post-flowering stage.
