Cockroaches (Blattoidea) |
The cockroaches (Corydioidea, Blaberoidea, and Blattoidea) are ancient, but somewhat generalized insects without special adaptations. They inhabit a wide range of environments, but are most diverse in tropics. Of over 4,640 species, only 30 cockroach species are associated with human dwellings.
