Snowy Tree Cricket (Oecanthus niveus) (De Geer, 1773)

 

Synonyms: Narrow-winged Tree Cricket

 

 

Oecanthus niveus is found in North America east of the Mississippi Valley; from the Great Lakes in the north to Texas and Florida in the south. This species inhabits deciduous forests, woodlands and shrublands, e.g., in man-modified areas.
