Booklice and Barklice (Psocoptera) |
Psocoptera are primitive, mostly diminutive, insects commonly known as barklice, barkflies and booklice. Most species feeds on lichens, terrestrial algae, molds and other fungi, as well as organic debris. The order encompasses 41 families and over 5,700 species.
