Beavers (Castoridae)

 

The family Castoridae contains a single genus, Castor, with two species: the North American Beaver (Castor canadensis), native to North America, and Eurasian Beaver (Castor fiber). We have images of only the North American species at this time. However, a lodge built by the Eurasian Beaver could be viewed here.
