Pareuptychia ocirrhoe is distributed from eastern Mexico to northern Argentina, and in Trinidad and Tobago. These butterflies inhabit edges of lowland tropical rainforest and cloud forest; sea level to 1,900 m. The wingspan is 35-37 mm. Adults feed on rotting fruit and fungi, and the caterpillar on blades of Eleusine spp. (Poaceae).
