The Muridae, or murids, are the largest family of rodents and of all mammals. It contains over 700 species found naturally throughout Eurasia, Africa, and Australia, and includes the familiar mice and rats. Formerly, family Cricetidae were included in Muridae. We only have images of one subfamily of the Muridae: Gerbillinae - the gerbils.
