New World Monkeys (Platyrhini) are the five families of Neotropical primates: Callitrichidae, Cebidae, Aotidae, Pitheciidae, and Atelidae (19 genera and 140 species overall). They are found in the tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas: from Mexico to Argentina.
