Jerboas and Jumping Mice (Dipodidae)

 

The Dipodidae are a family of rodents found across Eurasia and North America. This family include the jerboas (Allactaginae, Cardiocraniinae, Dipodinae, and Euchoreutinae), jumping mice (Zapodinae), and birch mice (Sicistinae). The Jerboas and the Jumping Mice are sometimes treated as separate families, Dipodidae and Zapodidae respectively; in such arrangements the Sicistinae are included in the former.
